Narrative Writing Framework

  • A narrative tells a story
  • It is usually written in the past tense
  • Uses a series of events to create an entertaining/engaging story with a problem and a solution

Stage of the narrative:
What does that mean I need to include?
Orientation
Introduce the characters (who?) and the setting (when? where?)
The the boys name is Bob and lives in Canberra and goes to Gold Creek School, Bob thinks nothing of throwing a piece of rubbish on the ground, nor does he know that this action would be the start of a horrible event.

Rising action
The events that lead to a complication or problem
People over the school are throwing pieces of rubbish with no care whats no ever. This eventually leads up to a massive school rubbish outbreak. Bob thinks of his action and released what he has done. Bob knows there is only one way to fix this.

Conflict
The arguments/fights/ disagreements that happen
People start getting angry and anxious after the school was shutdown, Bob is still trying his best to fix the problem but no one is trying to help him even though he is asking everyone.

Climax
The really exciting bit of the story!
People are now climbing the fences and saying this is their school and no one will stand in their way. Bob knows this is the point he really needs to find a way out of this mess.

Falling action
Things begin to get sorted out
Bob has finally able to convinced some people to help him, they have snow plows and start helping to clean up the Gold Creek School.

Pineapple

Brief:

Pineapple creates vision and hearing technology to improve or even eradicate blindness and deafness. We want to help people who have hearing or seeing disability and help them to overcome this. Are logo needs to show that we are what we say. Pineapple was funded by 3 main supporters of helping the disabled. My logo will probably include a Pineapple, grayish, has an eye in the middle. Thats only my BrandMark Logo.

CombinationMark:
My combination-mark logo has the pineapple and the words in front of it to show my company's name and  trademark logo.
My combination-mark logo is already white and black, including some grey.
My combination-mark logo is relevant to my company because of the name and the pineapple in the middle.
My combination-mark logo is scalable, you can make it smaller and still see the word and pineapple, and make it big.
This can be memorable by the text or the pineapple that is included in all my other logos. So if a person has seen my BrandMark logo, they will know who this company is.

BrandMark:
My brand-mark logo explains a lot about my company, as we create eye and hearing technology.
My brand-mark is already in grey, this well make it work in black and white.
My brand-mark shows what I do, you can describe this by the eye in the middle.
My brand-mark is relevant to my company by showing the eye and the pineapple of my company's name.
This logo is memorable by it being the only type of logo out there, it also has a eye in the middle which can be a reminder for people.

WordMark:
My word-mark logo is my company's name with the "i" being a pineapple, this can memorable or describe.
My word-mark logo is in grey and black, this can work well if it has to be in black or white (or grey)
My word-mark logo can be scaled to be small or big. This makes it "scalable".
This logo is relevant to my company because of it being the name of my company and the pineapple as well.

LetterMark:
My letter-mark logo is memorable for invert background to the "P", the "P" means Pineapple.
My letter-mark logo is describable by the bright white to the dark black to make it seem more interesting.
My letter-mark logo works in black and white because its already in black and white.
This letter-mark logo is relevant to my company because of the "P" being relevant to my pineapple.

Evaluation:
My logo design was made by me, the idea i got for the gray-white idea was from apple's logo which was grey.
